Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to increase your employment skills and experience?

Working in partnership with Sussex Coast College, The Marsh Academy is offering an apprenticeship in Customer Service Practice. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to achieve an NVQ level 2 qualification whilst gaining employment experience at the Academy. 

Apprentices will initially be employed for the duration of the training programme (approximately 1 year).  Candidates are required to have good computer literacy skills.  GCSEs in English and Maths, Grade 4 – 9 (A – C) are desirable.

3pm – 6pm Term Time Only + training days

We are seeking to appoint a reliable individual to join our Cleaning Team to be responsible for cleaning various areas of the school during term time.  You will need to be conscientious and hard working to ensure areas are cleaned to a very high standard for our staff and students. 

Duties include but are not limited to: emptying waste bins or similar receptacles and transporting waste to designated area; sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops; mopping floors with wet or damp mops; vacuuming; sanitise, dust, damp wipe or polish and replenishing/refilling consumable items (sanitiser, soap, toilet rolls, paper towels).

You will need to have good people skills, be able to work as part of an effective team and understand and carry out instructions.  The ability to work additional shifts and additional hours when required would be an advantage.
