The Marsh Golf Academy - Pathway Overview
The Marsh Academy proudly offers a dynamic U19 Golf Academy Pathway for students aged 16–18, integrated within our Sixth Form provision. This unique programme is designed for students with serious aspirations in golf—whether playing or coaching—while pursuing academic excellence across a broad curriculum.
In partnership with Lydd Golf Club, our U19 Golf Academy provides a comprehensive and inspiring environment that combines elite sports development with high-quality education. Students can choose from a wide range of A Level, BTEC Level 3 and Level 2 courses, ensuring flexibility and breadth in their academic journey.

Meet our Golf Academy Staff
PGA Professional – Tom Wraight
Tom is a vastly experienced golf coach having worked with top players and coaches during his time in the UK and 8 years spent in the Middle East. Tom has a rounded coaching style that ensures each individual gets the best out of their game, regardless of experience or current ability level.
Tom has a wealth of knowledge having delivered coaching for both the European Tour and Ladies European Tour working with stars such as Gary Player, Rafa Cabrera-Bello and Carly Booth.
An expert in junior coaching Tom has won Worldwide awards for running the UAE’s Junior Grassroots Programme ‘HSBC Future Falcons’ in which he introduced golf to thousands of children. Tom is driven to grow junior golf here at Lydd Golf Club through our Junior Eagles programme.
One of Tom’s greatest achievements to date comes from being a coach for Team UAE during the 2019 Special Olympic games in which three of his students picked up a winner’s medal.
Head Professional - Greg Holman
Greg represented Devon County at junior level up to the first team. Greg then turned pro after gaining a business degree at Plymouth University.
Greg joined the team in November 2025. After a previous spell of 12 years at Sene Valley Golf Club where he gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in teaching and custom fitting.
