Daily Rate of Pay depending upon experience and qualification

We are looking to recruit cover staff, to be responsible for supervising a class when a teacher is absent on a casual basis, to meet the needs of our school. We are keen to build a bank of cover staff who are fully embedded with our ethos, policies and procedures.  This position would suit an adult who is flexible, resilient, has good communication skills and is able to build a rapport with young people. 

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.

Teacher of Maths

(to start in September 2024 or possibly sooner)

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher, to join the Maths team in our school.  We would welcome applications from an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to start their career in a supportive environment with a strong ECT programme. The role involves teaching students of all abilities.

Applicants should be hard working, professional and have excellent communication and organisational skills. It is vital that all staff have high expectations of students, colleagues, and of themselves, displaying energy and enthusiasm in and out of the classroom.

We are a school with a strong sense of ethos and values and are intentionally inclusive, which means we have a high proportion of children with SEND and are proud of this. The continuous improvement of the school is clear to external visitors and our performance outcomes and we embrace our position in the heart of the community, with high quality facilities for staff and students as well as the local community, including an onsite leisure centre and cinema.
