The uniform for the Academy was designed in consultation with the Student Council. As ambassadors, they wanted to be represented in a way in which they would be perceived as smart, proud and grown up.

Students were keen on the idea of incorporating the four colours of the Microsoft Windows logo, one of the Academy sponsors, with the colours of the four mini schools. The effect is striking and modern and provides a unifying element to the Academy uniform.

Just to remind you, the details of the uniform are:

BOYS
Tie in appropriate mini-school colours
Formal white shirt - must be tucked in and top collar button is to be fastened
Black blazer with The Marsh Academy logo on the pocket
Standard black trousers
Plain black shoes
Plain dark socks in a single colour

GIRLS
Tie in appropriate mini- school colours
Formal white shirt - must be tucked in and top collar button is to be fastened
Black blazer with The Marsh Academy logo on the pocket
Standard black trousers or a black skirt that is suitable for a school setting (not too short or tight)
Plain black shoes
Plain dark socks in a single colour, natural coloured or black tights

PE kit:

• Black tracksuit trousers with the Marsh Academy logo
• White polo shirt with The Marsh Academy logo
