Key Stage 3

students in Years 7 and 8 cover the following areas:

• PowerPoint presentations
• Desktop Publishing
• Excel
• Access
• Word
• Web design using Dreamweaver
• Animation using Flash and Fireworks
• Graphics

Key Stage 4

Students have two core lessons a week and the opportunity to take additional ICT as an option. They have a choice of course - DiDA, iMedia or OCR National in ICT. These courses are modular and completely coursework based.

They cover a wide range of skills and build on the knowledge and skills gained in Key Stage 3.

Post 16

Students can choose from AS/A Level ICT, iMedia or a BTEC course in ICT. The iMedia and BTEC are coursework based and the AS/A Level is a combination of exams and coursework.
