Strike Action - Wednesday 30th November 2011

We have been informed by teaching unions and UNISON that they will be taking industrial action in the form of a strike on Wednesday 30th November 2011. This action is not against the school itself but is part of national action organised by trades unions about the changes to the pensions schemes of their members.
At the moment, the anticipated scale of industrial action means the school intends to remain open for Year 11 students only. All students in Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and Post 16 should NOT attend school on this day. Parents experiencing difficulties should contact the school for advice.
