Message from the Principal
Tuesday 23 February 2010
Dear Parents/Carers,
We are very sorry that we needed to close on the last Thursday and Friday of term. Unfortunately weather conditions were so severe that staff were unable to get in to work and the site was unsafe. Hopefully the winter should soon give way to more spring-like weather.
We are on schedule to achieve our best ever examination results this summer. We therefore ask parents of Years 10, 11, 12 & 13 to encourage their sons/daughters to persevere and to work as hard as possible in the run up to the exams in May and June. It will all be worth it come August.
I would like to thank the parents/carers of Years 10 and 11 who attended the various options evenings over the last few weeks. As we introduce an ever broader curriculum in Year 11 and Post 16, we need to work together to ensure that students make the best possible career choices. If anyone requires further assistance please contact your son/daughter's Mini School Leader at the school.
Best wishes
Mrs Tracy Luke
Executive Principal
