KEEPING OUR CHILDREN SAFE
Tuesday 23 February 2010
There has been much in the news recently concerning the checking procedures carried out by schools and other organisations to ensure children are kept as safe as possible when in their care. We want to reassure parents and students that all staff and visitors to our school are subject to all necessary checking procedures and we do everything possible to ensure that children are safe.
If any student or parent has any concerns regarding Child Protection and safety issues or wishes to report any incidents concerning the protection and safety of a student they should contact the following members of staff:
Michelle Whitewood, Designated Child Protection Coordinator
Robert Bristow, Senior Leader with responsibility for Child Protection
Hannah Franks, ESafety Coordinator
Any issues that arise concerning Child Protection are reported to The Executive Principal and Head of School immediately. Further information can be found in the Child Protection and Internet and ESafety policies on the Marsh Academy website.
