Motocyle Maintenance News
Thursday 5 November 2009
A group of Year 9 students have begun their course in Motorcycle repair and maintenance. Progress has been very encouraging, the first assessment task is complete and we are close to finishing the second. Students have been introduced to safe working practices and are all able to move a variety of motorcycles around the workshop using correct procedures. They have experienced moving the bikes onto ramps, strapping the bikes safely and raising the ramps ready for working on particular component parts.
We are very pleased with the students, they are working well in small teams and are learning a great deal.
