Year 10 Work Experience

Year 10 students have just completed their two week work experience. Placements were in the local catchment area, Ashford, Hythe, Folkestone and further afield – one in Stafford and one in London. The types of work included nursery and primary schools, retailing, construction, catering, office, leisure centres, manufacturing, engineering and elderly care. The majority of students performed extremely well and enjoyed the experience. When visiting and telephoning placements, almost all the comments were positive saying that the students had behaved appropriately, shown enthusiasm and were a credit to The Marsh Academy.

Lewis Unwin, was thoroughly enjoying his garage experience and the placement was disappointed he was only staying for a week!
