An excellent season ended in disappointment as The Marsh Academy lost 2-0 in the Under First Eleven Kent County Cup Final. The Marsh Academy went ahead after 20 minutes with Warren Smith. The lead was short lived and Chatham equalized 10 minutes from the end of half time. The Marsh Academy came out for the second half and had a goal disallowed for being offside and dictated most of the play for the half. A slip at the back let in Chatham as they went ahead 2-1. The Marsh Academy continued to press and were awarded a penalty five minutes from the end. The Chatham keeper guessed right and Chatham went on to the secure the cup.
