Gifted and Talented
Wednesday 7 January 2009
The Academy‘s Gifted and Talented students have been very busy this term. Many of the school‘s high achieving students were involved in last week‘s Christmas Concert. The school‘s link with Tonbridge School has enabled some of our GCSE students who are aiming for A* and A‘s to work with a visiting teacher from the school. A successful Primary School Gifted and Talented day was held at the Academy and many of our own students assisted Mr Double in organising and running the day. Another event is being planned for next term.
The various different Enterprise days held during Enterprise Week also offered an opportunity for the school‘s Gifted and Talented students to demonstrate their skills and expertise and also take on a variety of different challenges. Finally, some of our Gifted and Talented Language students have been busy writing letters to a French pen pal in a secondary school in France. They will soon be producing a video in French about the Marsh Academy which will be on the school website.
